Tag List is the section which located in the Connection Manager and lists all WinTr Tags. Also SQL input-output tags, Internal and Bit in Tags are created in here. Additionally being of Tags historical is determined in here. Tag list contains these procedures related all tags:
SQL Tag Building which applies historical tags related changes to SQL Server;
Unused Tag which determines the tags that not used at screen, printing and reporting operations.
Cannot Found Tag which used for determining deleted Tags despite used in screen, print or report operations.
Synchronous Tag List and Synchronous Tag Test operations which determines and tests synchronized tags with the WinTr Server.
Cross Reference which indicates locations that tags are used in.

Tag List made up 5 colums.

Network Info Column:

Indicates the Protocol and Network that Tag belongs.

Tag Name Column:

Column that contains Tag's name. Only SQL Input-Output and Internal Tag's name can be changed in this column. The tag names which created in other connection modules(OPC Client, S7-300/400 MPI, S7-200 PPI, Modbus RTU/TCP Master, Modbus RTU Slave tabs) can be changed in their modules(tabs). When a tag determined as historical, a column created with tag's name and data type in SQL Server. (For SQL input-output tags, there is always created a column in SQL server even they are not historical.) Therefore when historical or SQL input-output tags name changed, this must be applied to SQL Server. This operation  will be explained in SQL Tag Building section.

Value Type Column:

The column for changing Tag's value type. When a tag determined as historical, a column created with tag's name and data type in SQL Server. (For SQL input-output tags, there is always created a column in SQL server even they are not historical.) Therefore when historical or SQL input-output tags Value Type changed, this must be applied to SQL Server. This operation  will be explained in SQL Tag Building section.

Value Column:

Column that sets and shows tag's value. To set a value, connect button on the WinTr toolbar must be at the disconnected status otherwise and Tag can not be set. If value can not be entered while disconnected status, you should connect for just a time then disconnect again.

All tags that created in connection modules (OPC Client, S7-300/400 MPI, S7-200 PPI, Modbus RTU/TCP Master, Modbus RTU Slave tabs) listed in Tag List tab.
Internal Tags:

Internal Tags are created in tag list separately from Connection Manager's modules(OPC Client, S7-300/400 MPI, S7-200 PPI, Modbus RTU/TCP Master, Modbus RTU Slave). Thus internal Tags can not be directly used to read and write to devices which are connected via these protocols. They only active on the computer that WinTr works on. However they can be reached by other WinTr stations by using WinTr as server and client. When Internal tags determined as historical, their values saved to SQL Server at SQL Server Recording Time period which determined in Control Panel. Non-historical tags values are saved in project folder when WinTr shut down and transferred to Wintr at next start up.

Internal Tags created by selecting Internal Tag - Add from tag list's right click menu. There is no limitation with the internal tag count.

Insert command in this menu is used for creating tag on the specific line.

SQL Inp/Out Tags:

SQL Inp/Out tags are the one of the External Tag types of the WinTr. SQL Inp/Out tags are created on SQL Server by WinTr and they can be accessed by other programs. These programs can access SQL Inp/Out tags by communicating with password protected SQL Server by local or remotely. In this way SQL Inp/Out tags will be used together by these programs and WinTr. SQL Inp/Out Tags can be accessed real-time over the Internet by web browsers such as Internet Explorer without needed WinTr's Server option.
Historical Column:

Determines if Tag will be Historical. Historical Tag values saves to SQL Server at SQL Server Recording Time period which determined in Control Panel. The tags,  which historical values wanted to be saved, should be determined as historical. When a tag determined as historical, a column created with tag's name and data type in SQL Server. (For SQL input-output tags, there is always created a column in SQL server even they are not historical.) Therefore being tag's historical is changed this must be applied to SQL Server. This operation  will be explained in SQL Tag Building section.

Creating SQL Inp/Out Tags
Creating SQL Inp/Out Tag:

SQL Inp/Out Tags are created by clicking SQL Inp/Out Tag - Add from tag list's right click menu.
Insert command in this menu is used for creating tag at specific Line.
Bit in Tags:

Bit in Tags are represents a bit of another tag. Network Info column indicates the base tag and bit for the Bit in Tag. For example BitInTag\Tag_4\4 expression in  the Network Info indicates that Bit in Tag belongs to Tag_4's 4th bit.

Bit in Tag is connected with the it's base Tag. When one of them's value changed, the other's value changes too.

To create a Bit in Tag, select a Tag and right click on it. This opens tag list menu.
Select a Bit you want to create a tag from the combobox and click Add Bit in Tag in this menu.

SQL Tag Building:

SQL Tag Building is the operation must be done which applies changes on the Historical or
SQL Input-Output tags to SQL Server.
Following situations requires to make SQL Tag Building operation:

Changing Tag's historical status,

Changing value type of the historical Tag and

Adding and removing SQL Inp/Out tag or changing it's value Type.

User can be automatically prompted by WinTr to SQL Tag Building operation. Also it can be run
from the right click menu of Tag List.

It must be considered that making SQL Tag Builging operation after changing historical Tag's value type will delete all historical data related to tag and this can not be undone.

When the event occurred that requires SQL Tag Building, this will be prompted to user automatically as yes-no dialog box.
Selecting yes will be done the operation immediately, no will postpone it.

Deleting Tags:

Tags can be deleted on the Tag List one by one or completely. To delete a tag, select the tag and open the right click menu then select delete.
To delete all tags, select Delete all.
It must be considered that all data related to tag will be deleted after deleting historical tag. This can not be undone.
Only Internal and SQL Inp/Out tags can be deleted on the Tag List.
Tags that are created in connection modules(OPC Client, S7-200 PPI, S7-300 MPI, Modbus RTU/TCP Master, Modbus RTU Slave, Profinet)
can only be deleted from that modules. Delete command is disabled in the Tag list menu for this type tags.

But it can not be inspected whether tags are used in Scripts.

Synchronous Tag List:

Indicates the synchronized tags with the server WinTr stations while using WinTr as a Client.
Synchronized Tags will be listed at right side with server address and read-write permissions.

Standart Tags

WinTr SCADA, contains probable needed standart tags. These tags read only and cannot be deleted and renamed. These are the UserName, Now, NowDate, NowTime, Password Tag, Alarm, Warning, AlarmWarning and PasswordLevel1 to PasswordLevel10 tags.

String - Contains Username who logged in.

DateTime - Contains actual Date and Time.
